There are several recreational drugs which the drug addicts take for recreation for say ecstasy, opium, cocaine, lsdamd heroin. Each drug has a different effect but are all mind-altering substances that are detrimental to a person’s mental and physical health.
However, there is one drug that turns people into zombie-like monsters!
The drug is called Flakka aka Zombie Drug, one of the most dangerous drugs in the planet.
The Zombie Drug
It’s called the zombie drug because people who use it go into a zombie state and either eat themselves or bite and chew other people. They exhibit delusional behavior and superhuman strength.” said Bethlehem police Chief Mark DiLuzio.
Flakka is a cheap synthetic stimulant, chemically similar to amphetamine in bath salts.this dangerous drug is made from a chemical compound called alpha- PVP ,a chemical cousin of cathinone developed in the 1960's that has been sold as a designer drug.
Flakka is also called ‘gravel’cause it resembles to colorful stones placed in fish tank bottom,
News Vice The drug was first marketed as an alternative to Ecstasy but has a significantly different effect. Flakka is a “foul-smelling” drug and sold in white or pink crystal chunks according to the US National Institute on Drug Abuse.
It is a very strong hallucinogenic drug that elevates the heart rate. This so-called Zombie drug can affect the user’s mood by altering the mind’s serotonin and dopamine, thus causing permanent psychological damage and even heart failure. Flakka causes delirium, delusions, and hallucinations and incites violence.
There are many cases linked with flakka, such as the recent case of a Florida college student accused of killing a couple and then biting the dead man’s face. The 19-year old was apprehended by the police after the incident in which police said the boy had supernatural strength.
“When you see a case like this where someone is biting off pieces of somebody’s face, could it be Flakka? The answer is it absolutely could be a Flakka case,” said Martin County Sheriff William Snyder. Earlier this September, a man on flakka was running naked across an intersection to escape the imaginary people he said were chasing him.
